SUMMARY:
S-Line Motors LTD is
seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Automotive Parts Assistant to
manage and organize the inventory and spare parts in our garage store. This
role is vital to ensure our technicians and mechanics are well-supported with
timely access to parts and tools required for efficient vehicle repair and
maintenance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Inventory
Management: Maintain
accurate records of all stock items using software/manual systems.
·
Receiving
& Inspection: Verify
deliveries for accuracy and quality.
·
Storage
& Organization: Systematically
store spare parts and supplies.
·
Stock
Replenishment: Monitor and
order inventory when needed.
·
Issuing
& Tracking: Dispense parts
to mechanics and track their usage.
·
Quality
Control: Ensure parts meet
quality standards; report defects.
·
Vendor
Management: Liaise with
suppliers for timely, quality deliveries.
·
Safety
& Compliance: Follow safety
protocols in handling tools and materials.
·
Housekeeping: Keep the store area clean and
well-organized.
·
Reporting: Generate reports on inventory, usage,
and issues.
·
Tool
Management: Manage tools and
implement a sign-in/out system.
·
Other
Duties: Perform
additional tasks assigned by the supervisor.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND
QUALIFICATIONS:
·
Minimum of a high
school diploma; training in inventory/logistics is a plus.
·
Experience as a
storekeeper, preferably in the automotive industry.
·
Strong organizational
and record-keeping abilities.
·
Familiarity with
inventory software and MS Office.
·
Knowledge of
automotive parts and tools is desirable.
·
Good communication and
teamwork skills.
·
Physical stamina to
occasionally move heavy parts.
·
Awareness of safety
and handling procedures for hazardous materials.
