POSITION: SERVICE ADVISOR

SUMMARY:

S-Line Motors LTD is looking for a customer-focused and technically skilled Service Advisor to join our team. The Service Advisor is the key liaison between our customers and the service department—ensuring clear communication, accurate service recommendations, and an exceptional service experience from intake to vehicle delivery.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Customer Interaction:
  • Greet customers professionally, building rapport and trust.
  • Listen attentively to customer concerns and service needs.
  1. Service Consultation:
  • Conduct consultations and basic inspections to assess service requirements.
  • Clearly explain findings and recommended actions to customers.
  1. Service Recommendations:
  • Provide accurate service suggestions in line with diagnostics and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Explain the risks of delaying necessary maintenance or repairs.
  1. Appointment Scheduling:
  • Schedule appointments and coordinate with technicians to manage workflow.
  • Communicate estimated timelines and keep clients updated throughout the process.
  1. Customer Communication:
  • Provide regular service updates and notify clients of any changes.
  • Resolve issues and complaints promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
  1. Administrative Tasks:
  • Accurately prepare service estimates, repair orders, and invoices.
  • Maintain detailed customer and service records using digital or manual systems.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (automotive/vocational training is an advantage).
  • Experience as a Service Advisor or in a customer-facing role in the auto industry.
  • Basic technical knowledge of automotive systems and service procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in service scheduling software and basic office applications.

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to remain on your feet and move throughout the service area.
  • Manual dexterity to operate office equipment and manage paperwork.
  • Tolerance to a typical garage environment (noise, fumes, etc.).
